The competition to be the number one overall pick is stiff in the 2022 NBA Draft. Chet Holmgren will have to prove he is more valuable to a team than Paolo Banchero and Jabari Smith. Regardless the farthest he should slip is the third overall pick. Many view Holmgren as a generational talent that will impact the NBA immediately when he sets foot on the court. His size paired with his defense and ability to shoot make him a tantalizing prospect. The team that drafts him will expect big things.
