With the contract extension deadline closing, there are a lot of players holding out for the max deal. Kemba Walker and Charlotte wanted to get it done and dusted before they all get going.
ESPN’s Marc Stein released the news via Twitter.
ESPN sources say the Charlotte Hornets and Kemba Walker have agreed to a four-year, $48 million contract extension
I’m glad that Charlotte committed to Kemba. He has the talent and we finally saw that talent last year. He still has a way to go but the fact he is growing with a franchise that is on the rise. With an underrated Al Jefferson to pass to, with Lance Stephenson playing next to him.
I think everyone won here. Can’t wait to see what Charlotte can do.
