Russell Westbrook is one of my favorite players because of his antics and his aggressiveness on and off the court makes for a great translation into his playing style. In the Playoffs his game elevates and although that may elevate the antics, it starts up funny situations like this one. In game 2 against the Mavericks, Westbrook began his game with his pregame ritual of dancing with thunder guard Cameron Payne, but this time it was rudely interrupted by Charlie Villaneuva. Russell Westbrook then shot back at Villaneuva saying it’s only for people who play, and now Charlie V. has responded.

They’ve had altercations in the past too, just earlier this season after Charlie Villanueva was choking Russell Westbrook.
Looks like game 3 of this matchup is starting to become more heated than originally intended for the Thunder. With the series now tied heading into Dallas and Dirk, Deron Williams and J.J Barea all questionable to play, can the Mavericks force another win and a potential upset? Highly unlikely, but it’s the playoff time for a reason.
