There is still hope for ’50 Shades of Grey’ fans.
TheHollywoodReporter is reporting that ‘Sons of Anarchy’ star Charlie Hunnam has dropped out of the movie.
“The filmmakers of Fifty Shades of Grey and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam’s immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey,” said Universal Studios in a press release.
There was backlash against the casting decision when Hunnam was announced last month.
’50 Shades of Grey’ will be released August of next year but the new casting may push back that release date.
