Here we go. Actually let me rephrase that. Here I go.
I’m not the biggest fan of Chandler Parsons, I think he is very average. Yes he can make a three and dunk now and again. But what else can he really do? Unless the opposition constantly double teams Monta Ellis and/or Dirk Nowitzki, leaving Parsons open, he is not going to crack 20 points. It’s a fact. He isn’t clutch, he can’t post (lucky he doesn’t need to with Dirk and Tyson Chandler) and he isn’t exactly lightning on the court.
In a piece by Tim MacMahon of ESPN Dallas. Trevor Ariza, who has been touted as Parsons replacement in Houston, has been performing well. Even though they haven’t faced a good team other than the Heat. Ariza still gets it done. Chandler Parsons, doesn’t care very much.
“I don’t pay any attention to him,” Parsons said. “Listen, many people replace many people every year in this league. He’s a good, proven player in this league. He’s supposed to play good for them.“
Good comeback Parsons. But the fact that he’s producing and at half the salary you are currently on. Isn’t that a heads up?
Reason why Parsons has good numbers? Dirk. Nowitzki.
