Chandler Parsons has not played a full 82 game season in his career. For the last four seasons in his career, his games played totals have dropped from 76 games to a career low 61 last year with the Dallas Mavericks. The end of his tenure in ‘Big D’ was cut short due to surgery to repair a torn meniscus.
Despite Parsons hitting free agency with a knee injury, the talented wingman still was able to garner interest around the league. He ended up inking a deal with the Memphis Grizzlies and it finally filled a hole in the Grizzlies lineup. He just needs to be healthy first. After missing Memphis’ first six games, Parsons is ready to make his return.

Memphis’ has needed a consistent third scoring punch for years and Parsons should be the man to fill that need. The Grizzlies started the season 3-3 and when they face off with the Blazers in Parsons’ debut, they’re going to need all the scoring they can get.
Currently, after Marc Gasol and Mike Conley, the Grizzlies third leading scorer is James Ennis who is filling Parsons’ spot. You can just about guarantee Ennis’ production will be cut but the Grizzlies lineup will add a more dynamic player when Chandler returns.
