Chance the Rapper and Daniel Caesar went on ‘The Late Show’ to drop some flames.
Appearing with the Toronto-native Caesar, Chano performed an unreleased song. The song is so fresh, it doesn’t have a name yet.
Chance gets very introspective. He speaks on topics like not being a present father and missing his family. The third verse goes heavily into issues that the black community faces daily. Chance raps about the water crisis in Flint and how people continue to claim we make up our problems.
Chano also talks about becoming the mayor of Chicago.
This performance was simple, but it forces you to pay attention to the lyrics. I’m not sure where this song will end up, but I’m ok with just watching the performance.
