The Boston Celtics defeat the Washington Wizards 123-101 in convincing fashion and take a 3-2 series lead. Boston dominated from start to finish and was led by Avery Bradley who scored 25 points in the first half and ended with a game-high 29 points.
In the first half, the Wizards jumped out to a 4-0 lead and that was the only time they would lead for the rest of the game. After, the Celtics went on a 16-0 run, scored 15 fast break points, shot a blazing 65 percent, every Celtics’ starter had scored, and the Celtics led 33-21 in the first quarter.

The Celtics continued their dominate play and it was players like Al Horford, Jae Crowder, and Avery Bradley who were leading the way. The second quarter was much of the same, as the Wizards struggled to get anything going offensively and struggled on the defensive end. More importantly, John Wall and Bradley Beal combined to shoot 10-of-25 from the field. By the end of the half, Bradley had a game-high 25 points and the Celtics led the Wizards 67-51.

In the second half, the game continued to be a blowout as Boston was firing on all cylinders while the Wizards tried their best tp fight their way back. However, the Celtics were getting contributions from all over and made it tough for Washington to even cut into the lead. After an 11-0 run by Boston in the fourth quarter, the game was a foregone conclusion and game 6 will be Friday night in Washington.
