The Boston Celtics are either extremely confident or just thinking ahead.
Making the playoffs is more than a potential reality for the Boston Celtics. At 35-42 they’re currently ahead of the Indiana Pacers by one game as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics are just a half game behind the Brooklyn Nets as the seventh seed.
Even though nothing is guaranteed, the Celtics have announced they will start a pre-sale for playoff tickets starting on Tuesday, where fans can sign up to be on an e-mail list which will give them access to purchase. Here is the refund policy, as explained:
The Celtics’ Round One opponent and the dates and times of games will be posted on Celtics.com when they are determined.
If any game is not played refunds will be processed at the point of purchase. Fans who purchase online will receive an automatic refund from Ticketmaster for the face value of each ticket, facility charge and per ticket service charge. Delivery charges will not be refunded.
The refund option is a heads up play by the Celtics, again, being that a playoff appearance is still not guaranteed. On the other side, it does come across a bit confident as well as wise in the sense that the Celtics want playoff tickets sold if they are to make it to the postseason.
Boston has five games left in the regular season, including match ups with Cleveland and Toronto.
