Trade talks aplenty in Beantown about some of the top talent that the Celtics have to offer, but they found a way to defeat the Orlando Magic at home in the TD Garden, 109-92.
Rajon Rondo had 13 points, 15 assists and 7 rebounds to lead the Celtics. Brandon Bass scored 18 points of the bench, and Jeff Green and Jared Sullinger each finished with 16 a piece. Kelly Olynyk added 15 points with 6 rebounds off the bench. Tyler Zeller started at center and had 10 points with 7 rebounds.
Nikola Vucevic had 18 points with 13 rebounds, and Tobias Harris scored 17 for the Magic. Channing Frye and Evan Fournier had 13 points each and Kyle O’Quinn came off the bench to score 11 points for Orlando.
