The NBA is returning to Mexico. The league announced today that the Boston Celtics and Sacramento Kings will square off December 3rd at Mexico City Arena in (you guessed it) Mexico City.
The contest marks the league’s 22nd game in Mexico overall, the most NBA games held in any country that isn’t the U.S. or Canada.
In addition to the game, the NBA will be involved with other off the court activities including NBA Cares community programs and interactive fan events.
NBA Global Games Mexico City 2015 is one of multiple games the league will play internationally next season as part its efforts to expand fanfare worldwide. NBA Global Games China 2015 will feature two preseason games between the Charlotte Hornets and the Los Angeles Clippers in October. Additional NBA Global Games will be announced at a later date.
