Osman was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 31st overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. His draft rights were then traded along with Rakeem Christmas to the Cavaliers for Tyus Jones on that same night.
Osman was then stashed overseas where he played for Anadolu Efes Istanbul in Euroleague and the Turkish Basketball Super League.
In Euroleague play, last season he helped Efes reach the playoffs and push Olympiacos to their limits as he started every game but one for the Turkish club. Osman averaged 7ppg, 2.8rpg, and shot 34-percent from three.
Osman comes into the league with an NBA body, standing at 6-foot-8 and weighs 215-pounds. He also has NBA-level athleticism.
