CBS has announced that former Vice President Joe Biden and President Donald Trump will take part in separate interviews on 60 Minutes. CBS Correspondent Lesley Stahl will interview the President at the White House. Meanwhile, CBS Evening News Anchor Norah O’Donnell will interview the former Vice President at Delaware.
“[CBS’ 60 Minutes] will feature revealing, provocative conversations with the two major-party candidates for president,” Stahl said.
This is not the first time two presidential candidates have appeared on the same episode of 60 Minutes. In 2008, Steve Kroft and Scott Pelley interviewed former President Barack Obama and former Sen. John McCain. Four years later, Pelley and Kroft interviewed Obama and Sen. Mit Romney.
The interview will air just days after the two candidates appear in Nashville for the final presidential debate. NBC’s Kristen Welker will be the moderator for Thursday’s events.
Trump and Biden will appear on 60 Minutes on October 27, 2020 at 7 p.m.
