At 37 years old, Korver is ancient by basketball standards, but can still contribute in a key role. In 16 games for the Cavs this season, he shot 46.3 percent from 3-point range. This will be Korver’s second stint in Utah, as the guard played for the Jazz from 2007-2010.
Burks is 10 years younger than Korver. He’s a 6-foot-6 swingman whom Utah drafted 12th overall in 2011. For his career, Burks has averaged 9.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game while shooting 42.5 percent from the field and 35.5 percent from 3-point range.
The Jazz have been one of the NBA’s most disappointing teams this season and were in need of a shakeup. At 9-12, they hold the second-worst record in the West.
