The Cleveland Cavaliers have made it to the promise land that all Cleveland fans have been thirsty for. So starved of a title how you have all survived I’ll never know. Even when they made it against the Spurs we all knew it was over.
But now, they actually have a chance to get a ring. I know right! Cleveland, rings, feels weird in the same sentence. Alright roasting over they saw the expectations and fulfilled them despite how crazy, I thought they’d be done as soon as they faced Chicago, partly because I didn’t rate their head coach David Blatt. But hey, he must be doing something right and the Cavs players are giving them props.
“We knew that a lot of people were going to say things that, you know, didn’t mean much, but that’s just what they have to do,” James said. “That’s what helps sales. That’s the, people love reading the negative things more than the positive things, so I think he’s handled his situation unbelievably.
“Being a rookie coach in the NBA, being able to take his team to the Finals, I think he’s done a helluva job.“
Is it a bad time to say that most of the early criticism was fueled by LeBron? Not now? Alright then, Kyrie you’re up.
“If he feels like it’s what’s best for the team he’s the coach and he’s going to make a decision and we all respect that,” Irving said. “It hasn’t been anyone stepping on anybody’s toes. Obviously there has been some disagreements here and there, but what team doesn’t have disagreements?“
Blatt has dealt with so much, the amount of times he has just batted away criticism to, not just the media and the people, but his own players. If they get a ring, he should be treated like a God. Screw LeBron, Blatt is Cleveland’s son!
Wow that was terrible, scratch that, but Blatt should get credit.
