Mo Williams future in the NBA had been very unclear as of late. He reportedly was not in attendance at Cavs mini-camp in California this week, along with free agent J.R. Smith, and there were mixed signals about his retirement.
He had reportedly been leaning towards hanging up his sneakers after winning an NBA championship this past season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. But now it appears he might actually be lacing them up once again and suiting up for the Cavs for at least one more season.
Williams kept it short and simple and tweeted out the following.
Coming back #onemoreyear

Mo Williams told Chris B Haynes of ESPN that this indeed would be his last year.
I asked Mo Williams if there's any possibility he plays past next season, and his response was "This is my last year." Seems to be at peace.

Williams will most definetely be the backup point guard behind Kyrie Irving and seemingly a mentor for rookie Kay Felder. Since this is indeed his last season, you can almost guarantee that LeBron James and the Cavs are going to do all they can to make this season special for him.
