The Lakers lack of ability to defend quick, athletic point guards will be tested further tonight when they face the Cavaliers who welcome back Kyrie Irving into the fold. Irving has missed the past three-weeks after he suffered a fractured left index finger. He was originally expected to be out of action for a month, but has now been cleared for practice and will be in the lineup against the Lakers tonight.
Head coach Byron Scott was ecstatic at the news .
“That was probably the best news I got all day,” Scott said.
