The Cleveland Cavaliers have not lost a game ever since losing to the Toronto Raptors just over 2 weeks ago and are now 8 games deep into a winning streak after beating the Toronto Raptors 105-101. The Toronto Raptors controlled the 1st half, wheeling and dealing and scoring on all cylinders. Then, LeBron James, was LeBron James. He went off, point after point to finish the night with 35 points. He dominated and sent out a clutch 3 pointer to put the nail in the coffin for the Raptors. Kyle Lowry got a double double for 16 points and 14 rebounds and Jonas Valanciunas added a double double as well, but the Raptors lost the game in the fourth quarter. You will not here this often, the team who has led the league in point differential in the 4th quarter over the past 2 seasons, lost a game because of their play in the 4th quarter.
Analysis:
Cleveland is back, and they are furious. Ever since losing to the Toronto Raptors a couple weeks ago, a momentum shifted, making them win 8 straight. They are coming for their rightful throne of the Eastern Conference. The Toronto Raptors lost this game, and missing DeMar DeRozan was a lot tonight. It was obvious in the 4th quarter that the Raptors had no one else to pass the ball to other then Kyle Lowry to create a play, they needed DeRozan, badly. Good news, DeRozan should come back within the next 2-3 weeks, and until then, the Toronto Raptors schedule is pretty soft until December 22nd. They play the Pacers, Knicks (2x), Orlando, Detroit, and Brooklyn, before playing the Chicago Bulls on December 22nd. As for the Cavaliers, they will have a target on their back now, everyone understands what they can do, and that they are hot. Now, every team will go in wanting to stop this winning streak.
