Bovada released their latest odds for the NBA title and the Cleveland Cavaliers are favored at 2-1. The Cavs opened up the season as the Vegas favorite but early seasons struggles, and well just pure TV drama have plagued the team.
Since the turn of the year though, the Cavs have been one of the hottest teams in the league, and don’t really have much competition in a weak Eastern Conference.
A team that is getting very little love, the team who owns the best record in the East, the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks odds to win the title are at 10-1, despite owning the leagues longest win streak this season.
Other teams listed are the Spurs, with 6-1 odds to win the title, the Warriors with odds at 12-5, and the Rockets, Bulls, and Grizzlies with 14-1 odds.
Cleveland shouldn’t have much trouble reaching the NBA finals, with not many teams in their conference as talented as them. Whether they actually win the title against one of the teams from the stronger Western Conference, that remains to be seen.
