Catherine Zeta- Jones has been cast as a real life Colombia drug lord.
Jones will play Griselda Blanco in the upcoming biopic, The Godmother.
Eva Sorhaug will direct the movie about the only woman to rise among the ranks in the Medellin drug cartel.
Blanco was a teenage runaway and prostitute who found success in the drug business with operations in New York, Colombia and Miami.
She is rumored to have ordered hundreds of assassinations and was known as ‘La Madrina,’ “Black Widow’ and the ‘Cocaine Godmother.
Blanco was killed in a drive-by shooting in 2012.
