
Casanova opens about financial troubles, mental health struggles and much more on “Stress” produced by Yung Tango and TnTXD. Prior to releasing the song, the New York native opened about the stress in his life through Instagram.
“Those who really know me can vouch for me. I never did drugs [in] my life, but I caught myself taking anti-depressant [medicine] called Trazodone. I always told myself I’ll never abuse [any] pill, [but] by the grace of god I caught myself,” he wrote.
“I ain’t get?a hit yet/I ain’t buy my?mom a crib yet/I spent my whole advance on my?neck/Now?I’m?back out in?the field with?a TEC/I’m stressed, they keep sayin’ I’m blessed,” he raps.
Later in the song, he also discusses the passing of later New York rapper, Pop Smoke.
“Don’t wanna talk about spinnin’ blocks or drillin’ opps/Look how they did that nigga Pop, man, I’m still in shock,” he raps.
