Stanton, 31, is entering his 10th NFL season and remains one of the more valuable backups in the league. In 2015 he was not so good throwing 2 interceptions compared to 0 touchdowns in limited action. His best statistical season came in 2014 where he briefly filled in for the injured Carson Palmer (1,711 yards, 7 touchdowns).
Stanton also had one of the better celebrations this season!

Earlier today, in an interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio, Stanton reiterated his fondness for Arizona.
“I feel like this is a good situation here in Arizona. Is there a better opportunity for me elsewhere? I don’t know”
*Update: The deal is a tad over $3 million per season.
