
Cardi B now indicted on felony charges relating to an August 2018 fight inside of a Queens strip club.
The Bronx rapper finds herself facing multiple charges stemming from alleged involvement in an incident where multiple people were seriously injured. TMZ reports Cardi B faces 14 charges including two felony counts of attempted assault with the intent to cause serious physical injury. Additionally, Cardi B faces charges on criminal solicitation, assault, misdemeanor reckless endangerment, harassment and conspiracy.
Originally, Cardi B faced 2 misdemeanor charges and declined a plea deal. The incident involved Cardi B allegedly ordered an attack on two women who tend bar at Angels Strip Club. The women, Jade and Baddie G, claim Cardi B orchestrated an attack involving bottles, chairs and hookah pipes being thrown their way.
Cardi B’s lawyer claims the rapper did not hurt anyone during the incident. The next court date is August 9. Until then, Cardi B’s calendar is stacked with award shows, concerts and festivals.
