Cardi B has been incredibly busy as of late. To end the year, the New York native appeared on Meek Mill’s number one album. Not long afterwards, she dropped the video for her latest single, “Money”. Most recently, she popped up again for the official video for her collaboration with the City Girls. Not to mention, she’s going through obstacles of being a new mother. Along the way, she’s managed to have some time to chime in here and there. Most recently, she offered a hilariously entertaining review of Bird Box. This time, she’s here to offer some critique of the United States government.
During a recent Instagram live session, the Quality Control emcee took some time to address the ongoing government shutdown. In a moment of honesty, she told her fans that she’s scared. She also took some to address Donald Trump’s role in the current government shutdown. She said, “Our country is in a hellhole right now, all for a f*cking wall. And we really need to take this serious. I feel like we need to take some action.” Cardi also shared her sorrow for government employees who are still working despite not being paid at the moment.
