
The three rappers serve as judges embarking on the “search for the next breakout hip-hop star.”
On Tuesday, Netflix officially announced that the streaming service will launch its first music competition titled, Rhythm + Flow. According to Deadline, the 10-episode hourlong multi-city competition series produced by John Legend, Jesse Collins and Jeff Gaspin, is set to premiere fall 2019. Cardi B., Chance the Rapper, and T.I. will all serve as main judges in the hip-hop competition.
Auditions for Rhythm + Flow will begin this fall and go city to city, including each of the judges’ hometowns of Atlanta, Chicago, and New York. In addition, well-known rappers from each city stop will also serve as guest judges.
