One of the top players in the high school recruiting class of 2018 has just made his college decision. Cameron Reddish, the number four player in the ESPN Class of 2018 rankings, has announced that he will be playing college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils.
To me basketball is what you do when no one’s watching. The way I see it, I’m not a prospect. I’m a work in progress https://t.co/Ek5lmN7Hql

Duke continues to dominate the high school recruiting field, and has already began their class for 2018 as well as they possibly could have before the class of 2017 has played a game.
Cameron Reddish will be joining fellow top ten recruit and arguably the top point guard of the 2018 recruiting class Tre Jones as the two extremely early commitments for the Blue Devils.
With the mass majority of the top tier in next year’s class still with their decisions awaiting and Duke in the fold for many of them, it looks like Coach K is well on his way to yet another top ranked recruiting class.
Cameron Reddish is a long, athletic small forward with good amounts of skill. He’s a player well set to dominate the college game right off the bat. With his long frame at 6’8″ he is impeccable around the rim and has been continually developing touch on his outside jumper.
It’s very well possible that Duke has just landed what will be its player of their 2018 team with this commitment. As Coach K continues his vacuuming in of elite freshman talent, we shall see just how well he is at building a team together. Both this year’s team and next year’s will likely put that to the test.
