Caleb Landry Jones has entered talks to star in Roland’s Emmerich’s Stonewall.
Jones is in line to join Jeremy Irvine in the gay-right’s themed drama, reports Deadline.
Stonewall centers around the riots that were sparked by the raid on the Greenwich Village club in 1969.
Irvine will play Danny, a young man who experiences a political awakening thanks to the flashpoint that started the gay rights movement.
Jones will play an eccentric gay street hustler named Orphan Annie who slowly befriends Danny before being drawn into the Stonewall riots.
Jones recently starred in X-Men: First Class and will be seen next in Queen and Country.
