Image Entertainment has given the upcoming ‘Cabin Fever’ sequel a release date.
The studio announced that ‘Cabin Fever: Patient Zero’ will hit theaters and VOD during summer 2014.
The sequel will follow a group of friends on vacation in the Caribbean. When they come across a remote island with a abandoned research facility, they release a deadly virus and must find “Patient Zero” to save their lives.
Its predecessor ‘Cabin Fever’ was a cult success bringing in $31 million worldwide back in 2003.
