In all seriousness, the 2-11 Los Angeles Lakers are in disarray in the worst way. They’re fresh off a loss to the Portland Trail Blazers and they’re going into a game tonight against the defending champion Golden State Warriors, the NBA’s lone undefeated team chasing history. With a win over the Lakers, the Warriors will have the best start to an NBA season at 16-0.
Things are going well in Los Angeles with the Lakers. A possible source of their issues? It could be trust.

Byron Scott: "We just got trust issues, for whatever it's worth, on both ends of the court."

No one believed that the Lakers were going to be insanely good this season and they had no right to believe it either. Sure, the Lakers made some decent moves but they’re still in the Western Conference and in the same division with the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers and they are heavily reliant on a superstar way past his prime.
A source for some frustration could be the fact that Lakers coach Byron Scott believes his 20 year veteran wingman Kobe Bryant has earned the right to chuck up any shot he wants. Also, his young top pick, D’Angelo Russell, isn’t getting any fourth quarter minutes when he’s clearly one of the best perimeter talents the Lakers have.
Whatever way you want to slice it, the Lakers are not in a great place right now and the will have to find a way to come out of this hole they are in to try to salvage what could be Kobe Bryant’s final season.
