Byron Scott is suffering from ‘Motor mouth’, the condition where a coach or player cannot help but to air out the teams laundry to the local media. This guy will not stop talking! It’s like he’s saying “Dear Diary” to every LA news outlet.
There has been word around LA saying that Scott said the Lakers have ‘trust issues’. Well duh with you continuously talking to the media I’m not surprised. And maybe it’s why he only talks about Kobe, because Kobe is the only sure thing on the team.
Scott conceded that Bryant’s high-volume shooting “could” disrupt ball movement before defending his star player.
“He’s got 20 years in this league. We might not have six guys with 20 years in this league combined,” Scott said. “He has that privilege. From a coaching standpoint, I want Kobe to be Kobe. Other guys haven’t earned that right yet. When it gets to their hands and it’s sticking and you’re a first, second or third year player, you haven’t earned that right yet.”
Oh wow he said it ‘could’ disrupt ball movement. This guy is grade A delusional. He’s legitimately in denial and is just taking Kobe’s 20 years over the other players 1, 2 or 3 years in the league. The Golden State Warriors are favoured by +17 tonight against the Lakers. I’m going to take that.
