Kobe Bryant has been making some appearances recently. He sat down with Jalen Rose and Bill Simmons. He also sat down with late night host Jimmy Kimmel. Focusing on the Kimmel interview. There was one bit where Kobe was kind of put on the spot. After finally winning a game in February against the Boston Celtics in overtime. Nick Young, Jordan Hill and Jeremy Lin decided to mob Time Warner Cable talking as if they beat Boston by 50. Kimmel showed this to Kobe Bryant and his reaction said a thousand words.
He didn’t know whether to stay there or grab his keys and go and slap all three of them. As it turns out. According to Baxter Holmes of ESPN.com, Lakers coach Byron Scott had the exact same reaction.
“Kobe’s reaction was pretty much my reaction when I was watching it,” Scott said after practice Tuesday at the Lakers’ facility. “I was just shaking my head like, ‘I can’t believe this.’ ”
“As a coach of this team I was very disappointed,” he said. “That’s not how I act, win or losses. I want our guys to know that.“
The way they acted was silly. Acting like they were in the park. They’re tanking. Don’t act like you’re going for a trip. That cocky attitude is not needed.
