One of the longest tenured players in the history of the Chicago Bulls, Kirk Hinrich, has been traded out of the windy city. The man who is the Bulls all-time leader in three-point field goals made will be getting dealt to the Atlanta Hawks for a second round pick just a few hours after the Hawks sent reserve point guard Shelvin Mack to the Utah Jazz.

The deal comes a couple minutes after the trade deadline buzzer but its a strange deal for the Hawks. The still have Jeff Teague and Dennis Schroder so unless they see Hinrich as a bench reserve for Kyle Korver or as a third point guard, this is just a move to get a veteran on the roster for the remainder of the season.
