Oh yes, it’s preseason everyone and we are off to a bang. OKC getting the job done overseas and now the possible battle for the 2nd seed of the Eastern Conference.
The Chicago Bulls beat the Indiana Pacers 82-76.
But why do we care about the score, we all know what we care about… D ROSE IS BACK and personally I just wanted him back so I can see him jam in them shoes, man they look good…
Anyway Derrick Rose is finally back after 500+ days of “I’m healthy but not mentally ready”, “I’ll come back when I can dunk on my left foot” etcetera etcetera, he’s back and is ready to lead his hometown team to a championship.
In his return he scored 13 points, 3 assists and 2 steals. Sure he had 4 turnovers but that’s what the preseason is for. Luol Deng had 15 points and 8 rebounds while Taj Gibson had the best game with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
But it wasn’t all D Rose, don’t forget there was another team playing… Indiana’s best three were George (14 points, 5 rebounds), West (14 points, 4 rebounds) and Hibbert (11 points, 9 rebounds). There was also a return for Danny Granger who unfortunately didn’t have as good of a game shooting 2-10. Safe to say he’s still a little banged up…
Next up for the Bulls is Memphis at home on Monday and the Pacers face the Rockets on Thursday.
