The Milwaukee Bucks made two transactions today, around the time several players have their salaries either guaranteed or waived altogether. Guard DeAndre Liggins was waived by the club, and the team plans to sign G League player Xavier Munford on a two-way contract, according to Yahoo’s Shams Charania.
Munford will sign his contract in the coming days and has 45 days of NBA service until it expires.

The Bucks already have two players on two-way contract roster spots in Joel Bolomboy and Sean Kilpatrick, meaning one player must either be waived or converted to a standard NBA contract before Munford signs.
Munford, 25, has averaged 24.6 points in 19 games with Wisconsin in the NBA’s G League this year. He spent time with the Memphis Grizzlies back in 2016 and was named a D-League All-Star that same year.
Liggins, 29, appeared in 31 games with the Bucks and mostly struggled in limited time, despite his his team holding a 10-1 record in games which he played over 18 minutes. He averaged 1.8 points, 1.6 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 15.5 minutes per contest. He was waived by the Heat and signed with the Bucks before the start of the season.
Liggins could be a prime candidate to sign a 10-day contract with a team, with several clubs having interest in wing players across the league today, according to an ESPN.com report.
