Kenyon Martin’s career as a Milwaukee Buck was short lived after the Bucks making a couple surprising moves at the trade deadline acquiring Michael Carter-Williams, Tyler Ennis, and Miles Plumlee, Milwaukee needed to create a roster spot before they could bring in anyone to the team.
While the Bucks have lost their big man, Larry Sanders, due to a buyout it seems like they will be relinquishing the services of a former teammate of President of basketball operations/head coach Jason Kidd when Milwaukee decided to release Kenyon Martin.
Kenyon Martin was originally signed through the rest of the year after playing through two ten day contracts with the team, but sat out five games with an ankle injury before the all star break. Martin averaged two points and two rebounds in 11 games for Milwaukee, but Martin should land with a team if the ankle injury does heal.
Martin still brings a physical toughness and rebounding to any team that does swoop him up. A few teams that may kick the tires on Martin are the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers or Dallas Mavericks, three teams that seem to be in the market for depth in the front court.
