O.J. Mayo, who will hit the free agency market this summer, just took a hit to his value going into a summer where 20 teams have max salary cap space.
Mayo has suffered a leg fracture and he will miss the remainder of the season. He now joins fellow guard Michael Carter-Williams on the Milwaukee Bucks injury report.

Milwaukee Bucks guard O.J. Mayo has suffered a leg fracture and will miss the remainder of the season, league sources told The Vertical.
Mayo, 28, sustained the injury this week and surgery is a possibility, sources said.
For a brief period of time, Mayo was the Bucks starting point guard. He averaged 7.8 points, 2.9 assists and 2.6 rebounds in 41 games (24 starts). He is in the final season of a three-year contract he signed with Milwaukee in 2013. Since being drafted third overall in the 2008 NBA Draft, Mayo has averaged 13.8 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists in eight seasons for the Memphis Grizzlies, Dallas Mavericks and Bucks.
Leg injury aside, Mayo does have some value for a team as a reserve guard to come off the bench and put up some points. Luckily for him, Wesley Matthews set a precedent last summer when he got a max contract coming off an ruptured achilles.
