Actor Bryshere Gray was arrested in Arizona after his wife told police that he assaulted her and choked her unconscious Sunday night.
Goodyear Police Department Officers initially responded to call made at approximately 10:15 p.m. on Sunday night. An adult female reportedly told authorities that she had been assaulted in her home by her husband. The caller identified herself as Gray’s wife and named Gray as the suspect.
According to a press release from the Goodyear Police Department, Gray’s wife flagged down a driver at a local gas station and told them that she had been assaulted for hours. She was then taken to safety, treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released shortly thereafter.
Gray was taken into custody at the Maricopa County Jail where he is facing domestic violence related charges.
