The 24K Magic crooner announced his huge donation during a performance in Michigan.
Bruno Mars has recently donated $1 Million to the Flint, Michigan Water Crisis. The R&B singer announced his donation Saturday during his tour stop in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Mars announced that the money from the concert would go towards the Community Foundation of Greater Flint.
In an official statement from Isaiah M. Oliver, the CEO of CFGF, he expressed the organization’s gratitude for Bruno’s donation. “We know Bruno Mars’ $1 million gift will be transformative to the children and families of Flint. He understands the issues faced by Flint citizens, and we are touched by his concern and generosity.”
While this water crisis has been ongoing since 2014, the donations and work of many organizations have helped victims. While Flint has still been experiencing water problems, many celebrities have been donating to help the cause.
