It’s official, after losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers 28-24 the Cleveland Browns have ended the 2017 season defeated. Under Hue Jackson the Browns become the second team in NFL history to complete a season without a win.
The @Browns did it. They lost every game! Wow. Lord please help the Browns. @nflnetwork @NFL #GamedayPrime #Trutb

In a clear personification their season, the Browns were driving in Steelers territory with less than 2 minutes remaining. Then a wide open Corey Coleman dropped a pass on 4th and 2 that could have lead to a potential go-ahead score. The Steelers took over on downs and would run out the clock on the game and the Browns season.
The Browns have only managed 1 win in 2 years under Jackson. In 2016 the Browns offense ranked 31st and 30th in points and yards. Their defense ranked 30th in points allowed and 31st in yards allowed. The team didn’t fair much better in 2017 either (obviously). Offensively the Browns were 32nd in points and 27th in yards. Their defense ranked 30th in points allowed. Surprisingly their defense was ranked 12th in yard allowed but with an Offense ranked last in turnover ratio, opposing teams were playing on a short field.
Hue Jackson has been, literally, the worst coach in the NFL over the last two seasons and he STILL HAS A JOB! After firing General Manager Sashi Brown earlier in December, firing Jackson would seem like the next logical step. However owner Jim Haslam is still committed to Jackson.
Browns owner Jimmy Haslam, who just met with local news media outside locker room, reaffirmed Hue Jackson will be coach in 2018.

Unfortunately for Browns fans 2018 doesn’t seem to be a New Year, new team.
