The cast of Brooklyn Nine-Nine has donated $100,000 to the National Bail Fund Network. The cast and its show runner, Dan Goor, made the announce via Twitter.
“We encourage you to look up your local bail fund: the National Bail Fund Network is an organization that can lead you to them. #blacklivesmatter,” Goor tweeted.
Alongside Brooklyn Nine-Nine, other police centered shows have joined the effort. Griffin Newman of Blue Blood and Warren Leight of SVU also donated $11,000 each.

These donations come as the rest of the world takes to the streets to protest not only the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, but also income inequality, systemic racism and much more.
As the run of protests enters its second week, the four officers at the scene of George Floyd’s death have been charged. However, none of the officers present at Taylor’s death have been arrested. The F.B.I. has taken over the investigation of her death. No further updates have been provided.
