The Brooklyn Nets have amassed a nice little roster heading into the new NBA season, yesterday agreeing in principle to a one-year deal with Donte Green. The move is yet another in a major overhaul this off-season, where despite not acquiring Dwight Howard, the Nets have managed to gather enough talent to make a legit run at the Eastern Conference Finals. Greene comes via the Sacramento Kings – where he played 54 games for them last season – and will likely serve time behind Gerald Wallace at forward.
The deal has not been made official yet, but that didn’t stop Greene from tweeting : “HELLO BROOKLYN,” along with a picture of the Nets logo inside the team’s facility in Brooklyn yesterday.
