The Brooklyn Nets have been talking up a good game – recent claims that they were better than the Knicks have already been backed up by confident predictions of a championship, in year one of the revamped roster. The organization has been sparing no cost in promoting, and marketing, but meshing and coexisting on the court – despite having talented players – are two different matters entirely (ask the Knicks about that).
Center Brook Lopez, finally settled with Brooklyn after being part of trade talks for Dwight Howard for months, says the Nets are able to win it all next season.
“Obviously our main goal is no question the NBA championship. I think it is realistic for us,” Lopez told the Philipine Star during his NBA goodwill tour of the Philippines. “We’re already a good playoff team so with the addition of other pieces, we can target the ring.”
