I’m quite generous when it comes to me picking series results.
I have Charlotte a game, swept.
I gave Brooklyn a game, 2-0 down. Remember that the big 3 have never lost a series when 2-0 up.
The game started off at a snail pace. Heat started 0-5. But the game went on and people started getting warm. Notably Chris Bosh with a block on one end and a three on the other forcing Brooklyn to use a timeout.
Mirza Teletovic was by far the Nets best player. Bucket after bucket, keeping the Nets ahead. But when you have Garnett disappearing and Deron Williams being held scoreless ALL GAME, it was a classic case of living by the 3 and eventually dying by it.
To be fair to Brooklyn they kept the Heat honest all game, except in the final 6 minutes where the threes for Miami were dropping, eventually got a double digit lead and kept it that.
The teams head off to Brooklyn now with one thing on all our minds…
Sweep?
