Von Miller will be staying with the Denver Broncos for a long time. And he’ll get a lot of money to do it.
The Super Bowl 50 MVP has stated on multiple occasions that playing on the franchise tag wouldn’t be something he would want to do. Miller believes he earned the right to get paid properly and he was looking for his payday. Now the 27-year-old in his 6th season with the Broncos will be getting the extension he wanted.
Following from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Miller’s deal makes him the highest paid non-quarterback in the history of the NFL. The Broncos drafted Miller second overall out of Texas A&M in 2011. Since Miller was drafted second overall by the Broncos in 2013, he has been voted to the Pro Bowl four times but when he missed in 2013, he missed seven games due to injuries and a suspension. He also owns 60 career regular season sacks with the Broncos, needing 38 more to pass Simon Fletcher’s franchise record of 97.5.
Von Miller tweeted this to confirm he will be staying in Denver with the Broncos.
