The newest series on Def Pen brings you, “Bring It Back”. A look at the NBA and the way that the draft affects teams.
This series will take a look at some NBA players that you know very well and return them to their rightful homes.
No, were not going to bring back players to their actual hometowns, instead, we’re going to bring players back to the teams that originally drafted them.

That’s right. ORIGINALLY DRAFTED them. So kind of letting you know, what should have been.
The NBA is always full of trades, deals and moves on draft day and beyond and some fans don’t get to see what might have been with the talents their specific team drafted. Now we’re not necessarily going to be putting players on teams that should have drafted, so those teams who traded that draft pick before the draft went down won’t be getting those specific players. Yes, Sorry Nets fans, Damian Lillard won’t be on your roster.
This is for the guys who felt the high of being drafted to the NBA and then shortly there after got traded away to another team, not feeling like they were worth anything to that team. This is for the guys who were buried down on their bench not to be even looked at on a good team until they were traded to another team and they were unleashed on a new squad. It’s for the guys who were drafted to a team and then they were just an after thought until they moved on to a new role with another squad.
Be ready to see some guys like Rajon Rondo on the Suns, Kobe Bryant on the Hornets or even LaMarcus Aldridge on the Chicago Bulls and don’t forget Andrew Wiggins on the Cavaliers with LeBron James. Only active players of course.
Watch out because some NBA teams might not even be able to field full teams, which should add for some interesting drama.

The “Bring It Back” series will break down each team, their entire rosters of players and who would make the cut for those teams. Some will be presumably stacked, others will be lacking in talent but it will showcase the players and what teams they probably should be on.
Do yourself a favor and keep it locked here, because if there is a team that features Kyrie Irving, Andrew Wiggins, LeBron James, Tristan Thompson, Anthony Bennett with a bench including J.J Hickson, Shannon Brown, Carlos Boozer and Danny Green, there might be some fireworks going off and in an impressive way. What about a team that features Kevin Durant, James Harden, Jeff Green, Russell Westbrook, Serge Ibaka, Glen Davis and Reggie Jackson?

And no, the guy pictured above, won’t be on the Dallas Mavericks.
Some teams will be good, other will be horrible. It sure will be fun to watch though.
