Season two of Bridgerton is on the way. Over the weekend, the show’s creator Chris Van Dusen posted a picture of himself hugging actors Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey with the caption, “Wrap on season two.”
“So proud of this cast and crew who brought their A-games to work each and every day in this very challenging year,” Dusen wrote.
“And these two in this photo with me right here. Words are not enough. Coming in 2022.”
Season two will have a lot to live up to. Bridgerton‘s first season became the most watched series on Netflix last year before being usurped by Squid Game. The success of the show spawned not one, but two additional seasons from Netflix. Deadline reports that season two of the hit show will air in the first quarter of 2022.
