Ever since Brian Tyree Henry debut in ‘Atlanta’ as Paperboy, the world has not been able to get enough of him. Now, Henry is in negotiations to star in the Macro film ‘They Cloned Tyrone’.
Per Variety News:
The story follows a series of eerie events that thrust an unlikely trio onto the trail of a nefarious government conspiracy in a pulpy mystery caper.
“Creed 2” scribe Juel Taylor is on board to direct and will co-write the script with Tony Rettenmaier. Macro is producing and financing the project. Taylor, Rettenmaier, Stephen “Dr.” Love and MACRO’s Charles D. King and Kim Roth will produce.
Henry has had quite the busy year in 2018. He starred in the 2nd season of Atlanta alongside Childish Gambino and was in ‘This Is Us’ in a cameo. Film wise he played a role in ‘Hotel Artemis’, ‘White Boy Rick’, ‘Widows’ and ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’. Along with that, he even did some voice acting work in the Golden Globe winning ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-verse’.
2019 seems to be just as busy for Henry. He’s starring in the ‘Child’s Play’ reboot, New Line’s “Superintelligence,” and Fox 2000’s “Woman in the Window” and in 2020 he’s going to be in the Godzilla vs. Kong epic showdown film.
Henry is the true definition that all you need is one big break and you can catapult onto the scene.
