After spending last season with the Charlotte Hornets, Brian Roberts has decided to leave the NBA and return to Europe, signing with Olympiacos on a two-year deal, the club announced.

Roberts last played in Europe for Brose Bamberg in the 2011-12 season. He was a key player for the team, starting 52 out of 54 games across all competitions. In ten Euroleague games that season he averaged 8.6ppg and 2.2apg.
Roberts is a great replacement for Erick Green, who signed with Valencia. He will help Olympiacos rest Vassilis Spanoulis so he is still able to perform in the latter stages of the season.
