The Johnny Manziel Era will not be televised, this Sunday against the Colts. Jay Glazer reports that Brian Hoyer will remain the starter. Many people (like me) strongly disagree with Coach Pettine’s decision, but let’s consider how deep into the season we’re in, to make a sudden QB switch at this juncture isn’t best move.
Look, Hoyer has gotten the team this far, and yes, he has struggled miserably in the last 4 games, but to yank him out now for an unproven rookie could be greater risk than reward. Teams clamp down during the playoff run. To throw Manziel to the wolves now may be disastrous. That being said, OVO Johnny is looking to prove everyone wrong and he could’ve provided that spark the Browns are missing.
#Scoopage: The Manziel Era is NOT beginning in Cleveland yet as Brian Hoyer has been informed he will start this weekend vs Indy
