The Philadelphia 76ers are cruising to the no.1 pick in the NBA Draft, they’re doing well in #Suck4Simmons or #Botch4Ben, (I’m going to trademark those) so well done Sam Hinkie, your terrible plan is working.
Brett Brown is still there, he’s still their head coach, slowly suffering, taking constant L’s. I still don’t know how coaches can accept tanking. It must hurt every fibre of thier being when you know that you’re supposed to lose. We got a little bit of Brown expressing the pain. After the Sixers loss to the Celtics, Brown had a gripe.
“I don’t even know what team I coached tonight,” Brown said. “That’s not who we are. Fortunately we got a few wins on the board previous to this game where you can say, ‘Yeah, I agree, we see what you saw.’ I’m not going to be out of control with my comment, that’s what we saw. We were poor.”
You can see that he really wants to go in. He wants to start his biography now and just rip into the Sixers and how he finds this all to be BS.
I mean if I had a choice to be Spurs assistant coach or head coach of the Sixers, I would’ve stayed with the Spurs. I wouldn’t be able to stomach all those L’s.
